Our Story
Today, Hala Tree Coffee is thriving like never before. We’ve more than doubled in size, expanding our farm and planting new coffee trees that are already producing exceptional beans. Our passion for sharing Kona’s incredible coffee with the world has led us to open a visitor center, where we offer free farm tours and tastings to let visitors experience the magic of our farm firsthand. It’s been a dream come true to see people connect with the land and taste the dedication we put into every cup. And that’s not all—this journey has taken us beyond the Big Island. We’ve opened a coffee shop in Oahu, bringing a taste of Kona to the island’s vibrant coffee scene. From our humble beginnings to where we are today, Hala Tree Coffee is a testament to hard work, community, and a deep love for Kona’s rich coffee heritage. The journey continues, and we can’t wait to see where it takes us next!

That’s why we’ve taken it a step further, placing a unique QR code on every bag of our beans. With just a simple scan, you can dive into the story behind your coffee – from the exact picking date of the beans, to where they were sourced, when they were turned to green, and even the roasting process! You’ll know exactly who roasted your beans, and when they were carefully crafted into the perfect cup. It’s our way of bringing you closer to the journey of every bean, ensuring you can enjoy your coffee with complete confidence and excitement, knowing it’s crafted with integrity, passion, and care from farm to cup.
