Same honey process as our Honey Medium — the cherry’s fruit left on to dry in the sun, drawing the sugars deep into the bean — but here we carry the roast further. Sweetness meets fire, and the result is something darker and far more brooding.
This is a rich, full-bodied cup with serious depth: bittersweet and a little smoky, layered with nut, spice, and dried-wood notes. A slow, contemplative coffee for people who like real complexity in the cup.
Tasting notes: roasted chestnut, marzipan, almond, cocoa nib, and bittersweet chocolate, with cedar and pipe-tobacco depth over a full, spicy body.
Best brewed: French press, espresso, or drip.

Excellent as are all Hala coffees
This is our new favorite!! We always prefer dark but this Isa big jump over the standard Hala dark. Great flavor, not too bitter, not sour at all (important to us).

We are really enjoying this for variety. To be honest, only subtly different from the dark roast (regular) which it our go-to. But this is smooth, no hint of sourness. Not bitter. Not experts, but we love this coffee!
