Named for the layered pour it brings to mind, our Black & Tan is one bag of our own Kona roasted two ways — a 50/50 blend of micro-batch medium and dark roasts, brought together for people who can’t quite choose between them.
You get the best of both: lively sweetness up top, a grounded, full-bodied base underneath. Easy-drinking but with real range, it’s a good answer when one person wants something light and the other wants it bold.
Tasting notes: savory and sweet, with cola, black currant, molasses, honey, rye, and a nutty, heavy body with a lingering finish.
Best brewed: pour-over, French press, or drip — versatile enough for any of them.
