Deep Red takes our Red Bourbon variety somewhere bolder — roasted dark until its natural fruit turns deep and a little brooding. Red Bourbon is prized for its character, and the darker roast coaxes out a velvety, almost decadent side of it.
The cup is rich and smooth in a quietly luxurious way: full and dark without tipping into bitterness, with a sweet, spiced edge that lingers. One for people who love a dark roast but want more going on in the cup.
Tasting notes: dried apple, roasted nuts, candied almonds, caramel, and sweet spice.
Best brewed: drip, pour-over, or French press.

Hala Tree Deep Red Roast
Although all the roasts are very good at Hala Tree (can't go wrong with Kona coffee beans), this is by far the best! This roast has so much flavor compared to the others and starts my day off on the right foot.

Excellent Coffee
This is one of the better, if not the best Kona coffee I've had. Very smooth and neutral with a touch of sweetness.
